Use a Kettle - The Old Fashioned Brewing Method
Of course, you can go the traditional route and use a kettle to make iced tea. Simply fill your kettle with water, place it on the stove, and wait for it to boil. While you are waiting for the water to boil, add your tea bags to an empty pitcher. You will need 1 to 2 bags for each cup of water, depending on how strong you like your tea.
Once you hear that familiar whistle indicating that the water is boiling, pour the boiling water into your pitcher over the teabags. You only want to fill the pitcher so it is around halfway fill. Let it steep for around 15 minutes. Once it has fully steeped, fill your pitcher with ice cubes. Feel free to add some lemon, honey, or fruit juice to add a little flavor.

Use the Sun - The Original Brewing Method
To make sun tea, you will need a large, glass container. Fill your container about 3/4 of the way full with cold water. For every 8 ounces of water you add, you should add at least one tea bag to the container. Seal your container with its included cover, or use plastic wrap if it does not have one. You definitely do not want any bugs getting into and ruining your tea.
Place your container in a sunny location until it has fully stepped, usually around 4 to 5 hours. To add a little flavor, you can also add fresh fruit like blueberries or raspberries while it is steeping. It can also be fun to try making sun tea from different types of teas like oolong and white teas for example. Once your tea has fully steeped in the sun, pour it over a full glass of ice and enjoy!

Use Powder - The Newest Method
You can also purchase iced tea in powder form from most grocery stores. This is the easiest way to make tea, as you simply mix the powder with some water and ice to make tea. Keep in mind that many of the powdered teas are not actually made from tea, so they don't offer the health benefits that real tea does. Therefore, you should check the ingredients of powdered tea to ensure that it is actually made from real tea.
Whichever method you choose to make iced tea, you should find it an easy and enjoyable task. On hot summer days, pass on your sugar and corn-syrup loaded soft drink, and go with a healthy, delicious glass of tea.
