Decaf green tea contains the health benefits of green tea without the potential side effects of over-consumption. Everybody's physiology is unique and responds differently to caffeine. Some can drink 6 cups of green tea and have no adverse caffeine effects, and others can have just one cup and have the jitters. If you are concerned about the amount of caffeine in green tea, drink only one cup and wait one half of an hour to see how your body reacts. If you still feel calm and relaxed, then it is probably safe to drink another. However, green tea is not guaranteed to be safe for every medical condition and a doctor should be consulted for advice if you are in doubt.

It's better to ease in slowly to a new routine or pattern rather than shocking your body by introducing a sudden change.
